2022 SA CUPS

ELIGIBILITY

*No Driver Concessions. *No Mares Concessions.

*For eligible horses Trained & Domiciled in South Australia. *For the purpose of this series, horses trained in South Australia shall include horses trained in a close Border community provided the trainer has presented runners for at least 6 Mount Gambier Race meetings during the 2021 calendar year.

*To be eligible a stable return must have been lodged no later than February 1 2022 and the horse must remain Trained & Domiciled in South Australia throughout the series.

*Eligible horses which contest an interstate race after February 1 2022 must remain trained and domiciled in South Australia.

*Field selection for all qualifying races will be determined by dollars earnt in the last 5 starts, with the highest earning horses gaining preference.

*Field selection for each Final will be determined by points accrued throughout the qualifying races.

*In each qualifying race points shall be earned as follows; 1st – 10, 2nd – 5, 3rd – 3, 4th – 2, 5th to last – 1.

*In the event horses accrue the same points, field selection will be determined by the horse accumulating the greatest prizemoney in the qualifying races.

*In the event horses accrue the same points & the identical prizemoney, field selection will be determined through ballot conducted by HRSA officers.

*The horse which accumulates the most points during the qualifying races in each category will earn a prize of $3000.
