Harness Racing maintains a healthy life in metropolitan Adelaide at its flagship venue, Globe Derby Park, with 8 Country Clubs providing the country heartbeat for the sport outside of the city.
There are 9 Clubs across the State, hosting hundreds of events each year with more than 120,000 patrons attending metropolitan events and more than 25,000 visiting our country venues.
Country Clubs stretch from Port Pirie in the State’s mid-north to Mt Gambier in the south-east.
Many of the more than 2,000 trainers, owners, driver and stablehands, are farmers and families from rural areas and are the lifeblood of the industry.
Harness Racing SA also supports and works with a range of other Clubs and Associations, including SA BOTRA, SARA, Square Trotters and the Pony Association.
