SA TROTS - Prizemoney Lift November-December non premier meetings

With Globe Derby set to host the prestigious Southern Cross Series for two and three year-olds at the upcoming November 26 and December 2 meetings, HRSA wishes to advise a prizemoney boost to a number of ratings races across this period.

The following races will now be conducted for $6,999:

Monday November 28 at Globe Derby
• NR 73 or better Pace 1800m (up from $4,000)
• NR up to 52 Pace 1800m (up from $4,000)
• NR up to 53 Trotters 2230m (up from $4,000)

• NR 48 to 57 Pace 1609m (up from $4,500)

Nominations for November 28 and November 29 meetings close tomorrow Wednesday Nov 23 at 8:30am

These increases will allow both Globe Derby and Port Pirie to conduct a number of ‘Saturday level’ prizemoney races during a period of time that is set aside for the two and three year-old Southern Cross qualified horses at our premier meetings.

This announcement arrives on the back of continued strong wagering results for South Australian Harness Racing, which in recent weeks has increased Monday prizemoney levels, boosted the 2 year-old prizemoney and programming budget for 2023, created an additional feature Cup event for 2023, and lifted the ratings exempt threshold level.
