HRSA is excited to further bolster the offering to participants throughout the SA Country Cup Series, with leading points scorer initiatives aimed at Trainers and Drivers for each of the Strathalbyn (February 26), Kapunda (March 12), Gawler (March 27), and Victor Harbor (April 9) Cup meetings.
With $5,000 on offer for each of these four meetings, this equates to a further $20,000 into the SA Country Cup Series to further strengthen the concept.
The remaining two country racing circuits Port Pirie and Mount Gambier currently have ongoing premiership series’ which already incorporates their respective Cup meetings.
Below is an outline of the points system and prize structure.

SA Country Cup Series

Top Points Scorer – Trainer

Top Points Scorer – Driver

Total prizes per meeting $5,000
Total prizes across four meetings $20,000

Participants and stakeholders may have noticed some gradual increases in prize money levels across South Australia since October, introduced on a month-by-month basis. HRSA has implemented these changes ahead of schedule largely due to increased, and higher than forecasted, wagering returns.

HRSA will shortly be reviewing its total prizemoney budget, with the intention of making further increases.
Over the past five months there has been an uplift in prizemoney across all key segments; Saturday (Premier metro meetings), Monday (Non-premier metro meetings), Regional, and Feature.

Providing well-rounded and sustainable support will continue to be front of mind as further prize money announcements are made.
