Industry Release - SA Industry Welcomes New Appointment

Harness Racing South Australia (HRSA) welcomes the recent appointment of David Grenvold as CEO of the South Australian Harness Racing Club (SAHRC).

Formerly CEO of RSL SA, David enters into the local industry as a highly credentialed individual who has also contributed as a club administrator to the likes of Greater Western Sydney and Adelaide in the AFL, and Southern Cross Austereo in addition to playing professional sport at the highest level for Essendon in the AFL.

Originally hailing from Bordertown, David’s experience in the key segments of Commercial, Community, and Club will hold him in good stead as harness racing in SA enters a new era. At the centre point of  this reemergence sits a significant property development at the SAHRC which is anticipated in time to deliver unprecedented returns to club and industry.

David has already spent time at Club Menangle and Albion Park on fact finding missions which will further enable best practices to be achieved at SAHRC. He has also met with HRSA on several occasions to discuss a wide range of current topics including the return to racing at Globe Derby and prizemoney structures.
