SA TROTS - Encipher takes out 2yo pacing Filly at Victorian awards night

DESPITE resting in a paddock, wonder filly Encipher has recorded another major victory.

Already voted Australian Two-Year-Old of the Year thanks to her 2021 feats, Encipher was declared Victorian Two-Year-Old of the Year during the weekend.
Harness Racing Victoria hosted a gala event on Sunday night, with Encipher a unanimous choice for the top gong.
Trained by premier horsewoman Emma Stewart, the daughter of Captaintreacherous had 11 starts which netted five wins and five placings.
Four of those victories were in her ‘state of origin’ – South Australia.
Bred by local identity Tyson Linke, Encipher made a clean sweep of the The Allwood and Southern Cross series at Globe Derby.
Along with her hometown glory, Encipher was triumphant in the Breeders’ Crown at Tabcorp Park Melton, which contributed to her debut season bankroll of $287,669.
Last month Encipher made a ‘hit and run’ mission to Globe Derby to secure the South Australia Oaks in what has been her only start as a three-year-old.
