Harness Racing South Australia Stewards at Globe Derby Park on Wednesday 13th August 2025 conducted an inquiry in respect of a matter which had been adjourned on
Friday 25th July 2025 when suspension of Mr. O’Neill’s licence was imposed in accordance with AHHR 183 (d) pending investigation and inquiry being held.
At the inquiry Mr. O’Neill assisted by Jessica K. Kurtzer Barrister & Solicitor gave evidence in relation to matters which had occurred at Mildura Victoria on Thursday 24th July 2025 and subsequent action taken against him by Victoria Police.
A Civil Charge being issued resultant with Mr. O’Neill subject to bail conditions applied and further Court hearing set down for 9th September 2025.
Stewards after considering all evidence advised Mr. O’Neill the suspension of his licence would continue until 31st August 2025 at which time the current validity of his licence expired.
Mr. O’Neill was informed of his right to appeal the Stewards decision.
