Harness Racing SA Appoints New Audio Visual Broadcast Provider

Harness Racing South Australia (HRSA) is pleased to announce the appointment of FED LIVE as its new audio-visual broadcast provider, marking an exciting step forward in the delivery of high-quality racing vision across the state.

FED LIVE brings more than 15 years of experience in the racing broadcast industry, having delivered extensive coverage across Thoroughbred and Greyhound racing. The team at FED LIVE has built a strong reputation for producing reliable, high-quality multi-camera broadcasts. Their experience spans advanced streaming technologies, including satellite uplinks, Telstra DVN networks, and modern internet-based delivery systems. They have also supported Sky Racing with hosted multi-camera productions, wireless on-track interviews, and real-time broadcast coordination systems.

Under this new partnership, FED LIVE will deliver 4K-ready live race vision for all HRSA meetings, incorporating multi-camera stewarding coverage and a custom-designed replay system to support stewarding operations. The scope will also include upgraded photo finish equipment, and the utilisation of the RaceConnect application to enhance accessibility and review capabilities for officials. Additional broadcast enhancements will include modern on-screen graphics and integration with advanced photo-finish technology through their partnership with the Brook Group.

Harness Racing SA looks forward to working closely with FED LIVE to further enhance the broadcast and officiating experience for participants, punters, and fans of the sport.

HRSA would also like to acknowledge and sincerely thank John Rothe for his outstanding contribution to harness racing in South Australia. Over more than four decades, John has played a significant role in supporting and advancing the industry. We extend our gratitude for his dedication and professionalism and wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.
