DESPITE his sensational form, Our Indifference is on the market
Thriving since arriving in South Australia, Our Indifference has won six of his nine starts, including last Saturday night’s Veterinary Surgeons Cup at Globe Derby.
The son of Downbytheseaside also has two thirds to his credit.
Referring to the gelding as a “surprise packet”, trainer Ryan Hryhorec revealed Our Indifference is for sale.
“He has been a huge surprise packet,” Hryhorec declared. “When he first got here I thought ‘what am I going to do with him?’
“He came here as a 67-rater and is now an 89…he’s just loving the racing here and has gone ‘bang’!
“The plan was always to move him on though, so that’s still the case.”
Driven by Hryhorec during his latest outing, Our Indifference led throughout from barrier three to account for Im All Business and Artillery in 1:58.2 over 2230 metres.
“That was another good run,” Hryhorec said. “It got close at the finish, but he got the job done.
“I’m not sure how much longer he’ll be here, but while he is here I will look at other Cups.
“He won’t go around this week, but next week I’ll run him as a claimer.”
