2026 Kindergarten Series kicks on March 23

The 2026 Kindergarten Series is set to get underway, marking an exciting time of the year as the first crop of two-year-olds step onto the racetrack.

The opening heat will be conducted at Globe Derby Park on March 23, with subsequent heats programmed at Globe Derby Park, Gawler, Port Pirie and Mount Gambier through to April 18.

The series will culminate with the $16,000 Kindergarten Series Final to be conducted at Globe Derby Park on April 25.

Participants are also reminded of the $5,000 bonus, provided through the support of the South Australian Harness Racing Club, available for Southern Cross-eligible two-year-olds recording their first win at Globe Derby Park, provided the horse has been trained and domiciled in South Australia for a minimum of 60 days.

This bonus is in addition to the existing Southern Cross bonus, offering further incentive for local connections to target the series.
